Tips for Purchasing a Pond Liner
Pond liners come in a variety of sizes. You should order a liner that is slightly larger than the hole as you can cut it down if necessary. Note that you can seam together multiple liners together to form a large liner.
To protect the liner from tears or punctures, add an underlayer of sand, old carpet (plush side up), or any soft durable sheet of fabric before laying the liner in place.
Allow the edge of the liner to overlap onto the ground. The liner can be secured with rocks, shale, or other natural material.

The liner can be bit stiff when first removed from the package. I just laid it out in the sun on our lawn. It softened right up. It was much easier to mold around the rocks when the plastic was warm. The fountain held water all night. No leaks! Great buy! Fit perfect for our needs. Our goose has already been in the fountain multiple times. No rips!

I attached a photo. As you can see. We have a lot of rock/small boulders in the fountain. The fountain isn’t finished yet, but the liner is holding water and NOT riping on the rocks. I did use a weed barrier underneath the pond liner for extra protection to the liner. A great buy at a great price!
